Suitable for both hand and surface disinfection, this solution contains Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) a quaternary ammonium compound (commonly referred to as a QAC or Quat). It is an effective and widely used disinfectant found in many biocidal applications. It causes disruption of intermolecular interactions and dissociation of lipid bilayers.
DDAC has broad spectrum bactericidal and fungicidal activity and can be used as a daily disinfectant for a range of industrial applications.
Abrasive material is made using a three-tier technology process where the base layer of poly/viscose fibres are carded before coarse polypropylene fibres are applied via the spun bond process. The substrate is strengthened via thermal point bonding.
It provides a thick and strong material suitable for the toughest wiping tasks. The abrasive scrub texture helps with the removal of tough ground in grime and the smooth reverse surface is ideal for hand cleansing and general wiping.
