Hand Sanitising formula is ethanol based. Ethanol is commonly used as a disinfectant for hands and surfaces and is non-corrosive to most surfaces. It has limited residual activity due to evaporation, which results in brief contact times and limited activity in the presence of organic material.
Ethanol is most effective when combined with purified water to facilitate diffusion through the cell membrane.
A mixture of 70% ethanol diluted in water is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms. This hand sanitising solution also contains surfactants to help lift and remove dirt.
Tritex material is made by bonding layers of spunbond and meltblown polypropylene fibres together in a high heat process before a hydrophilic coating is applied. This material is 100% synthetic.
The material offers high strength in both directions – across and along the wipe.
Very low linting – low risk of leaving contaminating fibres on surfaces.
Excellent solution retention – ensuring even wetness throughout the wipe.
Efficient solution release – active wipe ingredients are transferred to the surface rather than being trapped in the wipe material fibres.
