Active Substance: Ethanol

01 Ethanol

Features

Ethanol is commonly used as a disinfectant for hands and surfaces and is non-corrosive to most surfaces. Ethanol has limited residual activity due to evaporation, which results in brief contact times and limited activity in the presence of organic material. Ethanol is most effective when combined with purified water to facilitate diffusion through the cell membrane. A mixture of 70% ethanol diluted in water is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms. High concentration mixtures such as 80% ethanol + 5% isopropanol are required to effectively inactivate lipid-enveloped viruses such as HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. This concentration level is also effective against Norovirus.

Active Substance: Combination chemistry of DDAC & Triamine

Medipal® 3in1 uses a new, high specification combination chemistry, effectively blending two disinfectant compounds, DDAC and Triamine, to produce a highly efficacious, broad spectrum disinfectant effective against spores.

Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (Quats) are effective and widely used disinfectants. They kill microorganisms by causing disruption of intermolecular interactions and dissociation of lipid bilayers. The 4th generation, Didecyl-dimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) chloride has been developed to give improved biocidal activity, stronger detergency and a lower level of toxicity compared to the previous three generations

Triamine is a compound containing three amino groups (N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine) acting as a cell disruptor. It is effective against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as enveloped viruses such as Hepatitis-B (HBV). It is a low toxicity, non-tainting and non-corrosive compound combining both detergent and disinfectant properties.

Triamine is a compound containing three amino groups. It’s Active Content N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine acts as a cell disruptor and has good antimicrobial  efficacy even at low temperatures and in the presence of heavy organic soil and is also effective against enveloped viruses such as Hepatitis-B (HBV). The product is stable around a wide range of pH levels and is usable in a number of applications such as food processing, institutional, veterinary and medical areas.

03 DDAC

Features

Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) is a quaternary ammonium compound (commonly referred to as a QAC or Quat). It is an effective and widely used antiseptic/disinfectant found in many biocidal applications. It causes disruption of intermolecular interactions and dissociation of lipid bilayers. DDAC has broad spectrum bactericidal and fungicidal activity and can be used as a daily disinfectant, recommended for use in hospitals, hotels and industry.

04 Detergent

Features

Pal TX Multisurface Detergent solution is formulated using a combination of surfactants and a specialised non-toxic, biodegradable aqueous fluid designed to enhance the performance of cleaning products and replace the need for solvents and hazardous chemicals. Environmentally kind,  this innovative chemistry is VOC free yet highly effective at removing oil, stubborn dirt and grease.

Active Substance: Chlorhexidine

Features

Pal Teat Sanitising solution contains Chlorhexidine, an antibacterial used as an antiseptic and other applications such as skin disinfection and in cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.  The bactericidal effect is a result of the binding of this cationic molecule to negatively charged bacterial cell walls. At high concentrations, membrane disruption results in cell death. Chlorhexidine, like other cation-active compounds, remains on the surface providing residual antimicrobial activity. This solution is developed to prevent the spread of mastitis and contains 2% Glycerol to help teats retain moisture.
