| Pal International acquires assets of Easiwipes Ltd. 15/10/2006 | |
| Pal International has made a major strategic acquisition through the purchase of the assets of one of its major industrial wipes competitors, Easiwipes Ltd. Ownership of the machinery and equipment of Easiwipes, formally based in Gillingham, Kent, has now passed to Pal, for an undisclosed sum. Richard Brucciani, Pal Managing Director stated, ‘The move will enable Pal to be even more responsive to new and existing customers with increased manufacturing capacity, in both wet impregnated wipes and also in higher quality dry wipes products. The Company’s capability to develop and manufacture own-label products for customers will also be dramatically extended.’ Pal’s acquisition follows on from its development plan of adding resources to its Technical Department, with chemical and micro-biological staff joining the Company to further focus on wipes research and development. Fulfilling cleaning and hygiene requirements in the food manufacturing, healthcare, janitorial and pharmaceutical industries, the asset acquisition will enhance Pal’s position as one of the leading names in the manufacturing of industrial wipes, servicing a Worldwide customer base. | |
